Hard problems, small team, real stakes

We’re a small founder-led team in Kitchener–Waterloo building offline-first sync, payments and a multi-tenant platform that restaurants bet their service on.

We don’t keep a list of open roles, because at our size hiring doesn’t work that way. We’re a small team working on genuinely hard problems — offline-first sync that survives real restaurant networks, money movement that has to reconcile to the cent, a multi-tenant platform that isolates every business — and when the right person shows up, we make room.

The Novaryq team at work in Kitchener–Waterloo
  • Offline-first sync

Encrypted on-device queues that reconcile perfectly when terrible Wi-Fi returns.

  • Payments that reconcile

Integrated payments with daily settlement reconciliation — correctness is the job.

  • Multi-tenant platform

One engine, many businesses, strict isolation — the unglamorous hard part.

  • Small team, full context

Everyone talks to operators, everyone ships, no one owns a fragment.

How to get our attention

Skip the resume blast. Tell us what you’ve built, what you think is hard about restaurant software, and what you’d want to work on here. If you’ve read this far and the problems above sound like fun rather than a warning, that’s the signal we’re looking for.
